Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Bern have announced the separation of CEO positions from Google-owned company Alphabet. Singer Ask, who was previously CEO of Google, will now be the CEO of Alphabet.
Larry Page and Sergey Bern say that Alphabet has been established, with several of its companies operating independently, so it's a natural time to simplify the company's administrative structure.
Alphabet was founded in 2015. Alphabet was made a Google company, but in the eyes of the public, Google was the largest company. That is why it was considered best to make Sundar Pacha the CEO of both.
Sunderbachai says becoming Alfabet's daily work will not affect his CEO, and his focus will remain on Google.
