Chaudhry Sugar Mills case against Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz continues
Hearing a case without reference is a waste of court time
LAHORE: The Accountability Court of Lahore has issued a written judgment of Chaudhry Sugar Mills case against former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and his daughter-in-law Maryam Nawaz.
Judge Jawad-ul-Hassan administered the judgment in the Ahtasab court Lahore. The court, in its written judgment, has said that Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Yousuf Abbas have been granted bail by the Lahore High Court.
The accountability court's written decision further stated that the reference of Chaudhry Sugar Mills has not been filed by NAB. It is a waste of court time to hear the case without reference. Will be summoned when reference is filed. In its written judgment, the accountability court Lahore has also ordered the file record room to be sent.
