Six times 'drug prices rise six times over 2 years' Mafia begins to take advantage of lockdown
Islamabad (Urdu Point newspaper, latest 6 April 2020): The price of medicines has increased six times in two years, despite the directive of Prime Minister Imran Khan of the Drug Regulatory Authority. The price of medicines in Pakistan has increased almost six times, a private channel reported. After which the prices of medicines have reached the sky and the poor people have reached far away, Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the Drug Regulatory Authority to reduce the prices of medicines.
Which has not yet been processed. However, now after the lockdown, the lower class as well as the middle class are suffering. People's buying power is diminishing.
It is to be noted that due to the lockdown across the country, the Corona virus has seen a drastic increase in prices of commodities and pesticides, but no action has been taken by the district administration. Unaware of it and are committed to robbing the poor.
Due to the lockdown nationwide, shopkeepers are selling masks, sanitizers and other pesticides at affordable rates at retail and medical stores. On the one hand the devastation of Corona and on the other hand these oppressive people are engaged in robbing people even in critical situations. Profit mafia seems to dominate the government, notwithstanding the high officials taking notice, the reduction in prices is a very important consideration.
