Ramadan: Proper use of water and a calm fast
Being hungry and thirsty in Ramadan can lead to dehydration or salt deficiency in the body. The prudent use of water or beverages does not allow dehydration in the body and also makes the thirst feel less. Remember the following instructions on how to use it properly and how we can avoid dehydration. Step-by-step instructions: 1- The first thing to do when you wake up in the morning is to drink a couple of glasses of water that is not cold, normalized. - Then after paying Nawafil or Azkar, drink water even before Sehri meal. Drink one or two glasses before eating.
2- If milk or curd is used in sehri, its use will reduce thirst.
3- Do not use too much oil or too much salt in hot spices in Sehri. They make you feel more thirsty. 4- Do not consume caffeinated beverages, tea and coffee in the morning. Excessive urination leads to dehydration and thirst. 5- Drinking too much water in the morning, such as drinking 5 to 6 glasses of water, to understand that you will not feel thirsty for a long time is not correct, because using more water will cause more urine in a few hours and all the water will be expelled from the body. It is better to eat foods that contain a lot of water than to drink water. This process will make the water stay in your body longer (the details of these foods are given at the end of the article). 6- Smoking at the end of the morning. Do not do this as it dries the airways and can increase thirst.
7- Do not do anything during the fast that makes you sweat. Sweating causes dehydration in the body and makes you feel more thirsty. 8- Avoid exposure to the sun during fasting and stay in a cool environment. 9- During the fast, take a cold water bath in summer and do not wear clothes that absorb more heat, such as black clothes or thick and tight clothes. Do not wear loose or airy clothes so that the body does not generate heat. Be and keep the wind blowing.
10- Do not drink too many glasses of water or drink at the beginning of Iftaar. A good drink during Iftaar is lemon juice or watermelon, tamarind, tamarind juice or fresh home-made fruit juices which are sweetened with dates instead of sugar or sweetened with sugar. If done, they remain useful. 11- Do not drink cold water. It will disrupt the digestive system. And do not drink too much water during Iftar.
