 Green Spice Biryani


  1. Meat ----- One kg
  2. Rice ---- One kg
  3. Ginger crushed garlic ---- two tablespoons
  4. Salt ----- to taste
  5. Onion (finely chopped) ---- Twelve to fifteen pieces
  6. Green coriander (finely chopped) ---- a lump
  7. Pepper (thickly chopped) ----- a tablespoon
  8. Proven hot spices ----- two tablespoons
  9. Yogurt sprinkled ----- two cups
  10. Yellow color ---- a click
  11. Milk ----- half a cup
  12. Kyora Essence ---- A few drops
  13. Ghee ---- a cup


Put the meat in a pan and add ginger, garlic, onion, green chillies, green coriander, mint and a cup of water and boil on low heat till the meat melts well.


 Mix pepper and salt in the curd. Take the meat off the stove, add curd and ghee and set aside.


 Boil the rice with hot spices for one minute (three to four minutes before complete thawing). Put it in a sieve and remove excess water.


 Spread the meat in a large saucepan and top with boiled rice.


 Mix yellow color and bitter essence in milk and sprinkle on rice. Cover rice and cook on low heat for 15 to 20 minutes on low heat.
